Relink Bitmaps, time saver

Some of you already know Relink Bitmaps, for others that never tried it, I highly recommend this script. It is a very useful script which helps you easily re-link all missing files (Bitmaps, VRayMeshes, Proxies, IES, etc) when they change directories or when you move computers, a tool that I can’tdo without a day.

This script will also automatically check for more recent versions of itself if you are connected to the internet and will display the changelog so you can see what new features were added.

The author is Colin Senner who is a very helping person whenever you need help, he is sharing this tool to the community for free, but you can donate by simply clicking the “Donate!” button on the script.

You can download it here.

Additional Info:

How to install
1. Run the .mzp file (Self-installing file)
2. In Max goto “Customize -> Customize User Interface -> Toolbars tab -> Category: ColinScripts->Relink Bitmaps” and drag “Relink Bitmaps” to a toolbar, click to run.
You can assign directories as search paths and configure the script. Here is a video to have a better understanding of the script

The script is not mine, it’s Colin’s, here is the link of his website and the script
you just need to save the paths where the files are and press Relink button, simple as that.
Feel free to ask him anything about the script.
